  November 25, 2011 V.O. S. has not done what I was told back in May when my father died. It is over 6 months and they still can't manage to get a name plate on the niche. I was promised over and again that it will be delivered on such and such a date only for me to go in and complain and get put off more and more. Jan has no follow through on her job. I am the one going to her to ask why and she has no answers and gives me more dates that pass by without a marker. I could have flown to China, made it myself and had it put up on the niche but no, they will get to it. If this wasn't my parents wishes to be placed there, I would move them to a competent place.

  Worst place ever will remove any decorations that are left for your loved ones ! If you complain they tell you that your decorations are bothering the Muslims and the Jews really the Jewish families are on the opposite side of the mortuary and I have yet to see a Muslim there! I am Catholic do my feelings not count over 17,000 $ to bury my son and I can't celebrate him at his gravesite cause it bothers someone else! I thought living in the United States came with freedom, freedom of religion freedom of speech . Had I known that this was going to be this way I would have never buried my son there ! So distraught over this I can't help but wonder who else did they not have respect for ! So disappointing for a place of business to treat people who would have been clients present and future in this manner ! My son will be the one and only buried there I will never use this mortuary again or recommend it to anyone for that matter!!!

  We used this Valley of the Sun Mortuary location in April 2013 for the memorial service of my mother-in-law. The staff was very understanding and gave us several options for everything they offer. My wife Montana Meadows from Bird of Paradise Weddings performed the actual memorial service and they were super easy to work with and extremely accommodating. We will recommend using this facility to our friends & relatives when this need arises again.
